“Not Uke U Campout”

The first Not Uke U Campout will be held the weekend of June 28-30, 2019 at Tumalo State. There is no agenda except to enjoy the weekend with plenty of time for floating the river, hiking, taking a nap, and of course ukulele playing by the campfire at night. Several Eugene folks are on board, and anyone else who wants to join us is welcome.

POTLUCK: To welcome you to the Campout, we invite you to the Ukes for Youth Potluck Dinner and Play-Along on Friday evening at Group Site A from 6-8pm. We will serve a main dish and ask that folks bring salads, side dishes, or desserts to share. Also bring your own beverages, as well as plates and flatware, plan to take it back with you for washing, recycling, etc., this will drastically cut down on garbage and trash cleanup for volunteers at the site. Also, bring a chair or plan to sit on the ground.

CAMPSITES: We have space for 8 tents for 3 nights, (June 28,29,30) in Group Site A, and the cost is $40 for all 3 nights. This includes parking for one regular vehicle, not an RV (per park regulations) and 3 nights tent camping. You can order your campsite here.

MUSIC: Many of the songs that will be played at the campout will be available on our Dropbox files, from which you can print them off, if you wish, or use them on an iPad or similar device. If you do not have access to our Dropbox files, send an email to requesting access, and we will send you an invite.

PARKING: All vehicles must have a valid parking pass, including visitors and extra vehicles on a site.

MAHALO: All activities for this weekend are free, although donations to Ukes for Youth are warmly appreciated. We’re looking forward to a really fun, relaxing weekend. Come for the weekend, a day, an evening or whatever works with your schedule. Please share this with whoever you think might be interested.
